Beijing Olympics 2008
I just came back from a gig at my university. 'Music Appreciation Night', they called it. Was awesome; I had fun jamming away on all the instruments. Will post up some pictures once I get my hands on them, soon. The rest are on Facebook. Bleh.
Just an afterthought: I wish that next time we would have ample time to practise and rehearse and also do all the necessary sound checks with the equipment. The feedback and noise is like a major turnoff for any event. And untuned guitars. And using a loudspeaker as a monitor. And tangled-up cables and power wires. Faulty keyboard stands. Shure mics that aren't turned on when I start backup singing. And forgetting the lyrics, lol.
And then, my friend had to sing an acapella bridge when I forgot the weird chords. Resumed play at the chorus, and the audience loved it. XD
Oh, the Bejing Olympics. Totally missed the opening ceremony. Yay.
